The software of simo-chart Cycloplan addresses mainly the serial productions and especially those having complex ranges.

The Cycloplan software allows :

• To establish the schedule of the tasks to be realized.
• To master and foresee your times of cycle.
• To capitalize your knowledge methods.

These applications, as moreover all these software, allow to make a classic said economic planning. They are thus totally unsuitable.

Indeed, during a cycle every resource (machine or operator) realizes a series of task, then begins again in the following cycle. There is thus no origin or at the end for such a schedule, because the "first one" tries can be realized only when the "last one" is ended

In fact, there are only cycles. now spreadsheets (mainly because of the circular references), and all the software of classic economic planning cannot treat this type of problem.

Cycloplan is the only completely adapted tool..

Its innovative algorithm resolves without any trouble diagrams (it supplies even a logical description of the compatible cycles with the programming machine).

There are some notions to be well mastered. However there is no language to be learnt and the creation of a diagram is totally “graphic”.
It is completely possible to master completely Cycloplan in 2 in 3 days.

Yes. You can naturally seize in the data base the values of the table MTM as it is.
Another possibility consists in creating functions, to parameterize your diagrams.
This method, offered by Cycloplan, is more flexible.

About everything :

• The different consumptions (electric, water, air, etc.),
• The breakdowns (availability),
• The returns (a part of the TRS),
• The variable costs of production.

Indeed, the data base allows to define a number of characteristics without limit.

There are no theoretical limits.The only limit is of "practical"order.

Indeed, the man machine charts do not have to exceed 100 in 200 tasks at the risk of seeing the calculation of the diagram exceeding the minute on a classic computer (see following F.A.Q.).

Being this mainly of in the power of the calculation of optimization.
However, , in the motorcar industry, diagrams with hundred of tasks are already very rare !

The Cycloplan application is compatible with the versions of Windows 98 with Vista..
However, we recommend to use the versions of Windows XP or Vista.
During a use “classic” foresee at least 50 Mb on the hard disk.

Yes. To realize diagrams it is however necessary to have at least a type of task in the base the duration of which we can define in the following way :
Function= T : with t a param&eter defining the duration.
So, it is the designer of the diagram to whom is confided the calculation of the duration of the tasks.

Furthermore, we shall note that the data base is not congealed and that it is always possible to add characteristics or new types of task without that it disrupts diagrams
